We’ve been involved in the Cane Corso since 2010, after many years of involvement with Rottweilers prior to that. We operate a small, carefully managed breeding program, maintaining a select group of dogs on our premises while co-owning several others throughout the country. I am an AKC CGC Evaluator, Bred with Heart breeder and AKC Breeder of Merit.
Our goal is to produce a Cane Corso with a powerful, unmistakable headpiece and a body built for true function. A Virtue Corso should be immediately recognizable—intense, correct, and capable of work. Breeding is not our primary focus; building exceptional dogs is. We allow the quality, correctness, and structure of what we produce to speak for itself in the conformation ring, while their natural ability is proven through sport and protection work.
You won’t find a page full of available puppies year-round here. Every pairing is intentional and done with the purpose of creating our next show, sport, or working prospect. We do not produce “pet-only” litters. If we are not trying to create the next best thing to keep back and build our program around, there will be no puppies available.
About Us
What sets us apart?
We’re not here to sell you a puppy from our next “fire litter,” because we do not believe every puppy in a litter is destined for show-ring or sport-dog greatness, although every puppy is bred to be a wonderful companion.
We are not going to market a show prospect from a pairing where neither parent has ever seen the inside of a show ring, nor a sport or protection prospect from a pairing where neither parent has ever stepped onto a trial field.
Our program is built on honesty, transparency and accomplished dogs - champion dogs, not just “champion bloodlines.” On real working dogs that have actually stepped onto trial fields to prove their ability.
We are humble and realistic about what we produce, and equally realistic about how much we still have to learn as we continue improving our program with each generation. We don’t claim to know everything, and we don’t pretend to have produced the best there has ever been, but we are deeply committed to growing as breeders.
Our dogs and our program will not be everyone’s cup of tea, and that is okay. There are many wonderful breeders out there with more experience in certain areas, and if we feel someone else may better match your goals, we are always happy to point you in the right direction.
